The hire fees are for a 48 hour tent hire. Longer periods of hire are available please specify when you contact us. Shorter periods are available for events located within 20 miles of our Peterborough base.
Tent hire prices are shown for cost per tent, the associated furnishings and the lighting (if required). The hirer of our tents is contractually responsible for them at the event.
Jobs using Intents are invoiced by Intent Productions.
We have various styles of lighting (pin-spots, uplighters, par cans, disco lighting and fairy lighting. The prices above are a suggested amount for a basic lighting package.
Chill out package include 30" floor cushions, 12" scatter cushions, 2ft round coffee tables and deer hides. The number of these varies depending upon the tent size.
Taking out event insurance can protect the hirer against damage which may occur to the tents and equipment. We can offer a Damage Waiver in exchange for a fee (calculated as a percentage of the equipment hire charge).
The Damage Waiver means that Over The Moon Events takes the risk of loss or damage to the equipment whilst it is in the client’s care, except that the client remains responsible for:

a) the first £500 of any loss or damage
b) any loss or damage caused by the client’s negligence or legal liability
c) any loss or damage caused by the client’s failure to adhere to any special security arrangements that have been agreed.
When the event is finished, we will remove the furnishings and lighting, valet and dismantle the tent and remove our equipment from the site.
Each hire attracts a delivery and labour charge.
- Delivery charge is based on the distance from our store (charged £0.55 per mile each way) and the number of vehicles used.
- The labour charge is for the set up, take down, cleaning of tents and interiors and travel time (for events more than two hours driving from our store). It is based upon the number of crew the event requires and can include accommodation fees should they be necessary.
We cover the whole of the UK mainland.
