Yurts, like tipis, are tents from an earlier time in man’s evolution of shelter. Yurts though have an advantage over the tipi for the modern family holiday. They are more spacious with better standing room across the tents whole floorspace. And the tipis best feature, it’s spiral spread of poles are best viewed and not covered with a rain catcher, which can work against people wanting dry tents.
